This beautiful event had me falling in love. I had to include this party on my blog. There are so many beautiful pictures to share. I couldn't wait!
When the ladies came by to order Kayla's dress they wanted to match her mom's beautiful fuchsia gown. She showed me a picture of her dress and I said we can definitely do a matching dress for your princess with a few changes. Like, change the bodice so that it is more age appropriate. And I'll be honest I wasn't too crazy about the color because it was such a bold color I didn't think it would match a child. But it was the most beautiful color. I didn't have that color in stock so I took her swatch with me to the store to find the match. I also picked up some fuschia lace applique to use for her bodice. Once the dress was ready for a fitting the ladies came by and were in total awe when they saw the dress. It was a simple nude sheer bodice with a deep v-back and a ball gown style skirt. Omg, she looked like a true princess. The mom wasn't too happy about the fullness as she wanted the dress to be super super puffy :) But because the fabric was on the heavy side it would bring the fullness down. In that case, we added 4 more layers of tulle to keep its fullness. She said she had a vision for her fairytale princess so the dress had to be perfection. The week after the dress was ready for pickup they walked in and saw the complete dress fully done with the applique added I have to tell you when she tried on the dress it was so PERFECT.
